Velocity Home Lifts was founded in 2014 by brothers John and James Garrett to help homeowners age comfortably in multi-storey houses. The Australian-owned, owner-operated company designs, manufactures and installs residential home elevators. Two core products: The Compass, designed for new homes and renovations and manufactured locally in Australia; and The Iconic, a shaftless design for existing homes that can be installed in around five days. Lifts are energy-efficient (30-40% less than traditional hydraulic lifts) and come with a 25-year warranty on the motor and gearbox where regular servicing is completed by authorised agents, plus a 24/7 support team. Showroom in Jamisontown NSW (Units 2 & 3, 84-86 Batt St, NSW 2750), serving Sydney, Newcastle, the Central Coast, Northern Beaches, Penrith, Blue Mountains, Canberra, the Illawarra, Wollongong, Shoalhaven, South Coast and Wagga Wagga.
